The Crown has an eclectic mix of unique rooms, sitting above & beside our pub, some of which feature historic details from the building's past as a coaching inn. All seven are en-suite & individually furnished in keeping with the pub's historical charm. We have both double & family rooms that suits stays for one, two, three, four or even five guests!
You'll find each bedroom to be cosy & comfortable, allowing you to experience the warmth of a busy village inn. Before retiring upstairs to the seclusion of your room at the end of the night. In the bathrooms you will find either a walk-in rainfall shower or a classic roll top bath for the ultimate relaxing soak using our bath salts & all-natural Faith in Nature products.
A hearty breakfast is always included with your stay. Our menu is varied & plentiful to set you up for the day ahead; there's Continental & cooked - Eggs Benedict, Full English & the like! All our rooms are accessible either through the pub when open or via a separate entrance, which is accessible at all hours from our ample car park. We welcome online reservations directly through our website at a reduced rate & look forward to having you stay with us.
Superior Family Suite- Sleeps 5
Room 1 (Lucetta)
With plentiful space for up to five guests, Lucetta is the largest room in the house, furthest from the main bar. Vaulted ceilings, wooden floors & beams frame this characterful space. The room benefits from natural light shining through the twin roof lights. Relax after a long day's walking in the country with a soak in the roll top bath before heading downstairs for dinner. There are two sofa beds in this room in addition to the king bed & single bed.

Two of our larger rooms with generous en-suites complete with roll-top baths with overhead rainfall showers. Large paned windows look out over the ever-changing Dorset countryside. These rooms feature a double bed & a sofa bed.

With an armchair perfect to curl up & read a book in & views overlooking the farm & fields to the front of the building, this room is both comfortable & cosy. The bathroom features a free-standing roll-top bath with overhead rainfall shower.

Room 5 (Elfride) & Room 6 (Clement)
Our smallest rooms, Elfride & Clement are situated above the main bar of the pub. Large windows give the rooms an airy but contemporary feel. Soft furnishings such as comfortable cushions & a warm woollen blanket encourage a spot of reading & relaxation. The bathrooms feature large walk-in rainfall showers.

Bathsheba is our fully accessible ground-floor room & as such features ramped access & a spacious easy access wet room. Being located just off our walled garden, it makes for a super relaxing stay.
The room is also dog-friendly (supplementary cleaning charge applies)
